Description

Transform your interior into a comfortable and warm cocoon with this authentic Berber rug, woven in the Atlas Mountains in the heart of Morocco. Our Berber rugs are made by women of Berber tribes. The raw material is the wool of a variety of specific sheep, known for its small size and great durability. Creating these rugs requires exceptional craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation, as well as a great dose of patience. It takes 1 to 4 months—depending on the size of the rug—to produce each of these unique pieces. These rugs are made by the Azilal tribes in the High Atlas region. They are often dyed with abstract patterns, geometric shapes, and tribal symbols. Dimensions: 176 x 110 cm (5.77 x 3.61 ft) Weight: 4.3 kg (9.48 lbs) Material: Wool (100% sheep wool) Shape: Tribal Rectangle: Azilal Condition: Vintage Clean and ready to use. Ideally, opt for a vacuum cleaner with a soft tip. In case of stains, quickly blot with absorbent paper, if necessary, use baking soda before finishing the treatment with a vacuum session. For 15 years, AFK Living has imagined rugs inspired by ancestral know-how, designed for everyday and family life. Each space combines design, comfort, and authenticity.
