It takes 1 to 4 months—depending on the size of the rug—to create each of these unique pieces. Beni Ourain is the name of the collective of 17 different Berber tribes living in the Atlas Mountains. To care for a Berber rug, it is advisable to use a regular and soft rug. Ideally, choose a vacuum cleaner with a soft-tipped nozzle. For stains, quickly wipe them off with absorbent paper, using baking soda if necessary, before finishing the treatment with a vacuuming session.
