It takes 1 to 4 months—depending on the size of the rug—to create each of these unique pieces. Kilim rugs are flat-woven and known for their colorful geometric patterns. They are produced by several Berber tribes in different regions of Morocco. To care for a Berber rug, it is advisable to vacuum regularly and gently. Ideally, opt for a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. If stains occur, quickly blot with absorbent paper, using baking soda if necessary, before finishing the treatment with a vacuum.
